Self-portrait

I have spent several months copying computer codes by hand. These codes belonged to a spontaneous selfie, which was just a moment to take. To prevent continuous flaunting and self-estimation, I tried and slowed down this process. I aimed to create a self-image through a meditative and kind of ascetic work. In fact, this duality portrays me as an artist: the sudden idea and the long, carefully thought out implementation -using traditional techniques and digital media -sensual influence in contrast to conceptual content.
